member of the recently formed National Association of
Tower Erectors, which is working in conjunction with
OSHA to write a more pertinent set of safety standards
for our industry |

The nature of the work we
do, the size of our work crews, and the geographical
dispersion of our work force make many traditional safety
practices impractical. Our Safety Consultants are the key to
job safety and our approach to assuring a safe workplace is
focused accordingly.
Our Director of Field
Services is responsible for the hiring and day-to-day
supervision of all installation personnel, and for assuring
we have an effective safety program. Our Safety Manual and
Riggers Handbook support our belief that safety training is
of the utmost importance to our company's continued success.
QTC encourages everyone in Field Service to look out for one
another. Our installation equipment, test equipment,
vehicles, and winches are continually upgraded and monitored
by our Equipment Manager.
Presently, our new hires
are assigned to a regular installation crew, where they
begin learning rigging, installation, and safety standards
using the company supplied manuals in conjunction with the
Foreman's direction on the job. QTC is very fortunate to
have Foreman and Supervisors who have many years of
experience under their belt, and we blend their knowledge
and input along with our company policies to maintain the
high standards expected of our company.
Our company strives for
excellence, and we believe there is no fully trained
employee, as training is continually ongoing in our industry
