Electronic Tracking and Accounting Systems.

Industry leader, QTC has developed proprietary materials management software for the special application of forecasting, ordering, distributing and installing large quantities of equipment into communications networks. The software is unique in its ability to track and account for materials that are distributed to multiple parties and locations, even if transferred on multiple occasions, and to report on the final destination and costs of particular project segments, such as sites, systems, markets, and other pertinent matters relative to cost accounting, taxability and depreciation.

Of course, the major advantage of the system is simply its ability to always establish who has what materials at the given time. That way, if there is an urgent need somewhere in the system and extra parts to fill that need in other parts of the network, you know it instantly and can re-route or re-order in time to meet urgent needs. It also makes it hard to lose a few very expensive assets or even a lot of inexpensive assets, or for folks to forget that they have them. The system always knows and has an electronic trail of where everything is now, where it came from and the path it took.
